Cathy Adams, 52

Funeral Services were held Wednesday, July 14, 1999 at the First Presbyterian Church in Lakin, Kansas for Cathy Adams. The Rev. Juanita Wiseman officiated and burial followed in Lakin Cemetery, with arrangements handled by Garnard Funeral Home.

Cathy Adams passed away at her home in Lakin on Saturday, July 10, 1999, she was born to Theron and Frances (Chamberlain) Fluke on July 11, 1946 at Eads, Colorado. She married Larry McNeely in 1963 and wed Garry Adams on September 4, 1981. She belonged to the First Presbyterian Church of Lakin and Lakin Women=s Bowling Association.

Cathy grew up and graduated from high school in Eads, Colorado. She moved to Kit Carson in 1963 and back to Eads in 1970. In 1971 she moved to Lakin, Kansas. She was a homemaker. Her special interests were bowling, fishing, playing cards, collecting angels and bells and her family activities.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Richard ADick@ Fluke. Survivors include her husband, Garry Adams, one son, Jeff McNeely of Tribune, Kansas, one daughter, Dana Lane of Lakin, Kansas, three step-sons, Kyle Adams of Norfolk, Virginia, Kent Adams of Midland, Texas, Kray Adams of Lakin, Kansas; one sister, Jackie Kirmer of Ashland, Kansas, 4 grandchildren and 9 step-grandchildren.
