Eads' freshman post Talli Hansen finds herself in the heart of the action while the official calls an infringement on one of the many Walsh players who concentrated on Hansen all night. Behind the inside-outside opportunities Hansen supplies Eads was able to get a 41-40 revenge over Walsh in the Lamar Holiday Classic semifinal round. The win pitted Eads against the very talented and number one ranked team in the state, the McClave Cardinals. Eads played McClave for three quarters until Hansen fouled out and the dam broke with Eads losing the crown by 20 points.
