Colorado State University
Cooperative Extension is again offering the Master Gardner class to area
residents. It has been several years since the program has been offered in
the Southeast Area. The Master Gardener Program covers all aspects of
gardening in Colorado from soil type and amendments needed to how
different types of plants grow and how to care for them as they grow.
Specific topics will also cover insects and diseases that affect garden
plants.
The complete course requires
fourteen weeks to complete and has been split into a two year structure.
Classes will begin on Friday, February 4, 2005 and run for seven weeks.
The remaining seven weeks will be held the following year (2006).
Registrations are available at your
local CSU Extension Office and must be received by January 10, 2005. The
location of the classes will be at a location closest to the highest
