CitiFinancial Secures Grant for LCC ScholarshipsDecember 24, 2004 CitiFinancial’s Lamar office, located at 108 S. Main, has secured a CitiGroup Foundation Grant in the amount of $3,000 for Lamar Community College students. The donation will be used to provide six $500 scholarships for full-time Business students seeking degrees with Finance or Management emphases. Applicants must be Colorado residents, have unmet financial need, and demonstrate the ability to be academically successful. The awards are for the spring 2005 semester, and application deadline is February 1, 2004. "The Lamar Community College Foundation makes a real difference in providing opportunities for individuals to attend college by exploring new funding sources," commented Preisser, "CitiFinancial is very excited to provide six scholarships for LCC’s spring semester.
