Wild Horse Roundup

Once in a while I mention what a small world this is. I read something that makes me think so more than ever. I read the article in the Range Ledger by Melody Mitchell about the group of people that goes to an orphanage in Mexico and takes food and such. When Marty got home Thursday evening she had an e-mail from our grandson Nathan. He is working and teaching at the same place Melody and her group go to. He doesn’t get wages just contributions from people. He is teaching the children to speak English.

Candy James got home from Albuquerque, New Mexico Wednesday and she sold all her craft work in about three hours. She made over 60 things that you hang in your house to make it smell nice. I don’t know what they’re called.

Friday we all went Christmas shopping in Colorado Springs. We took Lee out to Security to visit the Sinnes’ while we shopped. To much walking for her.

Tomorrow I will be watching and hoping the Broncos can get straightened out.

Marty got started decorating for Christmas today and will finish tomorrow (Sunday). I helped whenever I got out of my chair. Steve and his family went to the mountains and got their tree and he said they had it all decorated now.

I had a phone call today from a fellow in Kansas and he said he had bought the lots that were advertised here in Wild Horse. He said his name was Warren and gets the Range Ledger and reads my news.

We just talked to Lee Ann and she said they are getting a lot of rain and the last time we talked to her the snow was two feet deep. The three girls had to do the milking while their folks went to a Christmas party where Lee Ann works. Jessi and Jenni keep busy playing handball in their spare time. They do pretty well.
