Sheridan Lake Livewires Install New Officers

Hello! In case if you haven't noticed, the name above this column has changed. (If you haven't, I'll give you a moment to examine it.) My name is Lauren Weber, and I will be retiring Vincent Koeller, who, by the way, has done an excellent job on this column for the past two years. (At least, I think he has.) Well, I'll do my best on keeping y'all up to date on all of our meetings and events that are happening henceforth.

On Tuesday, December 2, 2004, the Sheridan Lake Livewires started their day at 5:00 p.m., when several of the members stayed behind to put up the Christmas decorations for the potluck that would start at six. (The decorations were awesome! Awesome, I'm telling you!) At 5:30, the meeting started. I forgot to take notes because I forgot that I would be doing this until the end of the meeting. Sorry!

There are two things that I can actually remember quite clearly. The meeting was shorter than our usual ones, and that the installation of new officers was after the meeting. It was around that time that it dawned on me that I just MIGHT have taken notes. Oh Well!

The installation of officers is pretty self-explanatory. You install new officers. Anyway, these are our new officers. President-Cassie Harris, Vice President-Vincent Koeller, Secretary-Megan Linder, Treasurer-Lana Weber, Reporter-Lauren Weber, Historian-Natalya Weber, and Song Leader-Tyler Harris.

After we had all ate, a total of 45 members and guests had a BLAST participating in our gift exchange. A gift could be "stolen" three times before finding a permanent owner.

All people that are interested in joining the Sheridan Lake 4-H Club must contact Gail Koeller or Susan Greenfield by January.

Well, that's about it! Boo-yah!
