New Year’s ResolutionsDecember 17, 2004 With the holidays coming up, many people may be reminiscing about the past year and looking forward to the next year. In doing so, many may be thinking about their New Year’s Resolution. If you are a tobacco user you may decide to make a resolution to stop using. If you know a tobacco user you might have a resolution to help support that person when they decide to quit. Whatever your resolution may be, make it a healthy one and look for support from friends and family with whatever you do. You’ll be surprised with the results! Plan your quitting date by seeing your doctor several weeks before you start. Many of the medications they can give you will make your quitting process easier, but many take several weeks before they are effective.
