The Christmas dinner at the Towner Hall was last week. A lot of people showed up. WIFE had a Christmas dinner at Hazel Woelk’s house. There were about 12 members present. It was a very nice dinner. Even the glass China dishes were brought out.
For anyone that is interested, I got my braces off. So when I call you for the news and you can’t understand me, that’s why.
Leo and Kathy Specht and Rick, Kim, and Shelby Harris made the long drive to Rolla, Kansas for the Rolla basketball tourney. It was definitely worth the trip. The girls beat Tyrone and lost to Moscow and Hardesty. Good job Lady Hawks!! Even with an injury, the girls still had a fun time. Cassie, please get better soon!! We all miss you and your wonderful basketball skills.
On Sunday afternoon, the Sheridan Lake Livewires 4-H members and parents went Christmas shopping for the "Wish tree." They really enjoyed the quality shopping time.
On Sunday night, Susan Greenfield vacationed over to Tribune, Kansas to attend Dale Nolan’s birthday party. Monte, Linda, and Kirbi Stum and Cheri Hopkins also attended.
