Eads Wrestlers at BurlingtonDecember 17, 2004 The Eagles had 5 individual placers at Burlington coming home with 3- 3rds and 2- 4ths. Eads faltered a little with no firsts or seconds at a traditionally tough tournament. Josh Fry saw his first action as a senior wrestling coming off of a knee injury that had him sidelined for a few practices and one tournament. A little rusty for his first match he was defeated by Hines from Burlington. In the second match against Hall from Crowley County, Fry was quickly down 0-5 but with a lot of determination he fought back and got away for an escape and a take down to make it 3-5 at the end of the first period. Fry ended up with a pin in the second for his first win of the year. Unfortunately he lost his next match to Fletcher from Akron to put him out of the tournament. We will look forward to seeing him in action the rest of the year as his knee heals and he continues to improve. Next the Eagles head to Las Animas for a dual on Friday and then Saturday to the Holly Holiday Christmas tournament.
