Wild Horse RoundupDecember 10, 2004 Jeopardy Ken finally gave a wrong answer and only won two million five hundred thousand dollars. If he is careful he probably can get by this Christmas. Candy James left for Albuquerque, New Mexico Friday to attend a craft show. She is really talented and makes some nice stuff. She also took some belt buckles and some bolos for ties and some other items Bill Skinner brother’s made. They make things like he does. Bill’s mother might get out of the hospital in a week. Friends gathered at the Methodist Church Wednesday for services for Ruth Fell who passed away this past week. Our thoughts and prayers go out to these fine folks in their loss. I’m always seeing something that brings back a memory. I seen in the paper that Ferlin Husky the singer from Nashville had a birthday. Many years ago when Lee still had her café open, Ferlin and his wife stopped in and a friend and got some gas and went in the café. They were going elk hunting. We used to have a celebrity stop in once in awhile.

I think there was a typo in my news last week. I had a phone call from George Vassios, but my news said Gus. My writing is pretty poor. C.U. went to Oklahoma Saturday, but it looked like they forgot what they went there for. I think our high school boys could have done as well. Today is a big day for the Broncos so I will set and yell at the TV as soon as I get home from the Cattlewomen’s dinner.
