Colorado Boys Ranch Fundraiser to Benefit At-Risk Youth
By Pam Avery
December 10, 2004
Ring out the old year by helping
at-risk youth while partaking in a family-style breakfast and
entertainment at Dave and Buster’s (Southwest corner of I-25 and Colorado
Blvd.) from 9:00 -11:30 a.m., Friday, December 31. All proceeds from the
"Keys to Change" fundraiser will benefit the Colorado Boys Ranch (CBR)
through a memorial fund established in honor of Ryan Harris. Ryan attended
CBR from 2000-2001, receiving educational and emotional support that
enabled him to graduate from high school and turn his life around. In
2003, he was tragically killed in an automobile accident near his home.
Proceeds from this event will help CBR provide other boys with the kind of
life-changing help and hope that Ryan received.
The family-focused event will
feature an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, as well as access to
entertainment throughout the entire facility, including an arcade,
billiards, shuffleboard and the opportunity to win prizes.
Tickets for the fundraiser (children
ages 2 and under are free) and can be purchased online at
www.coloradoboysranch.org, or by calling (303) 691-6095. Dave and
Buster’s require one adult for every four children under the age of 21.
