The Eads High School Future Business
Leaders of America chapter held a baked potato dinner Tuesday, November 9,
at the Community Building. The dinner was held as a community-service
project for the American Red Cross and as a fundraiser for the EHS FBLA
Chapter, with 75% of the proceeds going to help the victims of the
hurricanes that took place earlier this year. The chapter served about 200
people and raised $550 for the Hurricane Disaster Relief Fund. The FBLA
Chapter would like to thank the community for their support of us and the
American Red Cross and would like to thank the members and parents who
made it possible.
The EHS FBLA Chapter would also like
to inform everyone that coffee sales are still going on and if you are
interested in buying coffee but haven’t been visited by an FBLA member
yet, the coffee can be purchased by contacting an FBLA member or Mrs.
Ellenberger at 438-2214. Proceeds from the coffee sales will go towards
the FBLA State Conference in Vail, CO in April.
