Kiowa County Sheriff’s Report

October 5, 4:50 p.m., 408 E. 13th Street, Eads. Jeffrey Scott Lane, 38, of Eads, Timothy Ray Winder, 45, of Eads and Jodi Lynn Hebberd, 32, of Eads were summonsed in to Eads Municipal Court for disorderly conduct. (submitted by Undersheriff Richardson)

October 7, 1:00 a.m. & 9:45 a.m. Responded to McRue’s Roadhouse in Eads for a report of criminal mischief where a tire was slashed. Responded to the Econolodge Motel for another report of criminal mischief where tires were also slashed. Investigation of both incidents continues. (submitted by Deputy Christie)

October 10, 4:00 p.m., 1101 Hickman Street, Eads. Martin L. Martinez, 20, of Eads was arrested and charged with third degree assault and is being held at Prowers County Jail in lieu of a $6,000 bond. (submitted by Undersheriff Richardson)

October 13, 12:07 a.m., Highway 287 at mile marker 109. Mario Elias Hernadez, 20, of Aurora was arrested and transported to Powers County Jail for driving a motor vehicle when license under restraint (suspended), displaying fictitious number plates, operating an unregistered vehicle and operating and uninsured motor vehicle. Hernandez is being held in lieu of a $1,500 bond. (submitted by Deputy LeFlore)


October 13, 4:00 p.m. Felony charge of theft, forgery and fraud by check are to be filed on Tinira Lynn Ross, 35, of Monument. The charges stems from a check being tendered to Cottonwood Park October 4, 2004. The Kiowa County Sheriff’s Office has been investigating in conjunction with the Monument Police Department, with charges to be filed in Monument. (submitted by Captain Ray)

October 13, 4:25 p.m. 15th and Rittgers Streets, Eads. Mark George Dixon, 45, of New Norway, Alberta, Canada, was cited in to Eads Municipal Court for speeding 10-19 miles per hour over the posted speed limit. (submitted by Deputy LeFlore)

October 14, 2:40 p.m., 1304 Hickman Street, Eads. Angela Marie Lane, 30, of Eads was summonsed in to Eads Municipal Court for disorderly conduct following an altercation. (submitted by Captain Ray)
