Wild Horse RoundupNovember 12, 2004 We all went to Denver Friday morning for Marty to keep a dental appointment which didn’t take very long. We then started killing time as we wanted to go to Steve’s, but we didn’t have a key for his house. We ate some lunch and shopped some but, bought very little -- $14.00 worth. When Steve and Deb got home they ordered a good supper and went and picked it up. While reading this morning’s (Saturday) paper in Denver I seen a picture of a friend of mine. It was Sheriff Leroy Yowell of Hugo and a little write up about him being Sheriff since 1975. He must do something right. When we got home from Denver I went to Kit Carson to watch them play Revere and what a ballgame. The score changed hands quite a few times. I think it was one minute and twenty-seven seconds and Kit Carson had a two-point lead and they had to punt. On their first play I think Revere threw a long pass that was complete for a TD that made the score 27-33 and our boys couldn’t get anywhere with only a minute or so left. Our congratulations to our boys on a good year. The Maxcy boy got a leg hurt and the ambulance took him to the hospital and that’s all I know. I just finished watching the Broncos win their game and I approve of the message they sent. Keep it up.

Thursday morning I seen a bicycler come down from the school house so he must stayed in the school yard all night. It was pretty to be out riding this time of year. He had a little one wheel trailer with some stuff on it so he must have been going some distance. I thought biking was a warm weather thing. Lee Ann called this (Sunday) morning and was telling us about a back problem she has. I think she hurt it getting out ensilage. The doctor said two vertebrae got kinda locked and is taking treatments. They said one more treatment should fix it. The fish place she works at pays her while she is off since she got a letter from her doctor. It seems that lately family news is all I have. Sorry.
