A note to remind the community that they have a great asset in the Artists of the Plains which is the kind of organization that goes toward making this town and county complete, or if you prefer, well-rounded.

Also to thank those artists for their immediate acceptance of a new member and sponsoring the book signing event for Cindy Perry of Kit Carson and myself last Saturday evening. A great turnout for the reading and talk with excellent participation of the audience attending. A special thanks to the patrons of the gallery whose purchases help keep this showcase of talent alive and accessible.

I really am enjoying becoming a part of Kiowa County and I appreciate the acknowledgment that writers and poets are artists too. More to come. Visit your gallery and share.
