Our steps are made firm by the Lord, when he delights in our way; though we stumble, we shall not fall headlong, for the Lord holds us by the hand. Psalms 37: 23-24

Congratulations Lady Wildcats for your victory to go to State volleyball tournament in Denver. Best of luck there---we are proud of you.

Mary Ellen Davis took Peggy Pursley to Lamar Thursday for Peggy to see her eye doctor. Peggy said they had a very nice pleasant trip.

Tuesday, Election Day, Peggy attended the Wild Horse club dinner. It was a delicious meal with a good turn out for it.

Saturday was a warm beautiful day but disappointing when the Wildcats lost their football game to Revere by only four points. What an exciting game it was. The Wildcats certainly made Revere work for their win. Everyone was saddened to see Andrew Maxey get a serious injury to his ankle in the third quarter. Andrew was air lifted to Swedish hospital and went into surgery Saturday night. We all hope you get well real soon Andrew and on your feet again.

Toby and Amy Johnson and children and Polly Johnson had supper with the Scott Johnson family Saturday night after the football game.

My sisters, Donna Eaton from Lamar and Vera Hammons from Wiley, my brother Richard Fell and wife Judy, from Holly, my nieces Monica Uhland and son Rhett from Eads, and Talara Coen and son Rayce from Wiley, Mary Ellen Davis, and the Howard Mitchell family all came to my house for supper after the football game Saturday. It was to be a victory party but everyone had a good time anyway. And our football team played a whale of a ball game and we are proud of you.

Eve Kregel had Sunday dinner with Glaida Craven.

Glaida spent the week-end with Jaryl Everist in Lamar.

Glaida went to Loveland with Sylvia Stoker and Mervine Steiner to visit and help Mona Steiner celebrate her 80th birthday.

Recent visitors of Glaidas were Clayton Hughes from Collins, Missouri, J.D. and Terry Waddle from Arvada, Don and Diane Craven, Peggy Pursley, and Polly Johnson.

Margaret Brown had the following visitors this week; Henrietta Owens, Jennie Schreivogel, Marilyn Longwell, Irene Getman, Anna Gunderson and Betsy Evans.

Heniretta Owens visited Jennie Schreivogel and they went out to dinner Thursday.

Robert Cloud spent a week with Tony, James and I while his folks were in California welcoming a granddaughter in to the family of Paul and Crystal Wong. Kaylien has two little brothers to welcome her also.

Perry White brought his bobcat to do some dirt work around my barn. I fixed him a big dinner as payment. Is that fair enough???
