October 26, 9:00 a.m., Gerald James Bersche, 60, of Eads pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, to wit: methamphetamine, a class 4 felony. According to the plea agreement, Bersche shall serve up to four years with Community Corrects or up to 18 months with the Colorado Department of Corrections. In addition to the terms of incarceration, Bersche would serve a mandatory period of parole for three years. (Submitted by Captain Ray)
