Death Notice-Jimmy Don Adamson, 65

Jimmy Don Adamson was born June 22, 1939 at Chivington, Colorado to John and LaRue Adamson. He passed away at home with his family by his side on October 13, 2004 at the age of 65.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 19 at 10 a.m. at the Peacock Family Chapel in Lamar with Reverend Don Brown officiating. Interment followed at the Fairmount Cemetery, Veteran’s Section with Military honors under the auspices of the High Frontier Honor Guard, Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado Springs.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his Father John Adamson and his first wife Jackie Adamson. He is survived by his wife, Doris Adamson of Lamar, children: John (Kelly) Adamson of Cheyenne Wells, and Derek (Chris) Beneden of Lamar; by brothers and sisters: Lois (Danny) Weisdorfer of Eads, Linda (Rodney) Hopkins of Eads, Bonnie (Mike) Bishop of Calhan, Alma (Bob) Buchan of Manhattan, Kansas, Doris (Tom) Owens of Sparks, Nebraska, Dale (Linda) Adamson of Chivington, Jerry (Tina) Adamson of Eads, Bud (Marlina) Adamson of Eads, Daryl (Mandy) Adamson of Eads, Dave (Ruth) Adamson of Chivington, his mother LaRue Adamson of Eads, mother-in-law Anita Mart of Binsfeld, Germany, brother-in-law Peter (Christina) Mart and family of Binsfeld, Germany, three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.Memorial Contributions may be made to Lamar Area Hospice, PO Box 843, Lamar, CO 81052 direct or in care of Peacock Funeral Home 209 South Fourth Street Lamar, Colorado 81052 who was in charge of arrangements.
