Plainview school and fall sport
pictures will be on Wednesday, October 20th, 2004. Pre-school students are
welcome to attend. The photographer will begin taking pictures at 8:00a.m.
On Monday, Plainview’s Spanish I and
II classes vacationed to Holly for a cultural dinner. Those in attendance
were Holly and Plainview’s Spanish I and II classes, Ruth Fees, and their
teacher, Senor Carlos Huerta. Even though very little Spanish was spoken,
everyone had a great time.
Linly and Sherell Stum, Monte,
Linda, and Kirbi Stum, and several others gave the Towner Church a
facelift. And as I understand it, the church is looking very nice.
Game day in on October 16th at the
Towner Community Church.

Bernice Tuttle went to the Sheridan
Lake Livewires 4-H club potluck supper on Friday evening. She went to Trey
Jensen’s soccer game at Lamar on Saturday morning. On Friday, Verna
Hallock, Bernice Tuttle, Sue Miller, Mary Louise Huddleston, and Mildred
Crocket went to Ranchers Restaurant in Lamar to celebrate Mildred’s
birthday.
Peg Weber will be visiting her
mother, Anna Lenart, for the next few days. Anna lives in/around Peoria,
Illinois. I expect to hear from Peg soon. And I quote, "I get to ride on
the boat all day while you sit at home and go to school." Yep, she’ll have
a great time.
"Why is the phrase 'It's none of my
business' always followed by 'but...'?"
