Poore-Hopkins United in Marriage

Jennifer Poore and Evan Hopkins were united in marriage March 27, 2004 at the United Methodist Church, Stockton Kansas. Parents of the couple are Larry and Barbara Poore, Woodston, Kansas and Cheri Hopkins, Towner, Colorado. Grandparents are Alvin and Venda Poore of Woodston, Kansas, M.J Sullivan of Pratt, Kansas; Everett and Olive Hopkins of Towner, and Bob and Lu Schlabaugh, of Arvada.

Honor attendants were Becky Foose, sister of the bride and Christy Hopkins, sister of the groom. Bridesmaids were Amanda Wolf, Kendra Heidrick, and Jennifer Tiemeyer, friends of the bride. Darin Gronewoller, friend of the groom was best man. Groomsmen were Eric Lobmeyer, Cody Woelk, Randy Williams, friends of the groom and Mark Stamper, friend of the couple. Ringbear was Brandon Foose, nephew of the bride. Flower girl was Morgan Crockett, friend of the couple. Candles were lit by Amanda Wolf, and Kendra Heidrick. Guests were seated by the groomsmen. Musicians were Burl Scherler, Sheryll Stum, and Christy Hopkins. Guest book attendants were Angie Woelk and Ashley Grubb friends of the couple. Reception servers were Eric and Trina Hoffman, Steve and Pat Cook, Marilyn Hopkins, Linda Stum, Brenda Fickenscher, Susan Greenfield, Sherlyn Axelson, Cindy Hall, and Jeanne Poore.

The bride graduated from Stockton High School and Fort Hays State University with a degree in Agriculture. She is employed with FairPoint Communications as the Manager of Market Development. The groom graduated from Plainview High School and Fort Hays State University with a degree in Ag Business. He is self-employed as a farmer. Following a honeymoon the couple are at home in Towner.
