Weisbrod Auxiliary Meets
September 17, 2004
The Weisbrod Memorial County Hospital and Nursing Home Auxiliary met Tuesday, August 17, at Weisbrod Hospital.
The following were present: Barb Diel, President; Kim Richards, Secretary/Treasurer; Joyce Berry, Sandy Kelley, Sis Howard, Alice Weil, Margaret Frazee, Dora Pearcey, Anna Randel, Doris Lessenden and guests Tonya Lane, Rhonda Krueger and Mr. Yule, Hospital Administrator.
Meeting was called to order. July minutes were read and approved. Treasurer's report was given.
Old Business: the residents have received big print reading materials from people and also the residents were given magnifying glasses from Loretta Seibel. All this was much appreciated. Sis is looking for the bedspreads that will meet the hospitals standards. Sandy and Alice will try to get the valance and blinds for Room 2 and Rhonda will check on the status of the clock for the room.
New Business: The Auxiliary will be having a tea for the new doctors wife and Mr. Yule's wife at the nursing home. Lola, Sandy and Alice will be on this planning committee. Sandy made a motion and seconded by Doris to purchase an awning to cover the patio. We will pay $1,000.00 and the hospital memorial fund will pay the rest. A portion of the money from the auxiliary will be from the memorial donations of Fern Reinert. Motion carried. Anna will order and try to have it here for fair.
Rhonda made a motion and seconded by Margaret to adjourn the meeting. Next meeting will be September 21, 2004 at 12:00 at Our Place.
