East End EventsSeptember 17, 2004 I would like to congratulate everyone that participated in the Kiowa County Fair. I don’t know about everyone else, but it went by too quickly for me. Just think of it this way… all the stress is now officially gone!! Floyd and Wynona Barnes and Rafael Mendonca spent the weekend at the county fair. Susan Greenfield had her sister, Cassandra, over on Thursday night. Her parents, Norman and Virginia Greenfield, came on Friday. Her sister and parents all spent the weekend at her house. They also enjoyed time this weekend at the county fair. Cassandra went back on Sunday; Susan’s parents went back home on Monday. They all enjoyed a fun and relaxing weekend. Verna Hallock spent Labor Day weekend at Cucharo. She spent the weekend in a cabin up in the mountains. Mary Louise Huddleston went to Burlington to attend a grandparent tea with Shelbie Huddleston.

Dick and Sharon Scott did not attend Ty Fickenscher’s wedding last week. That was my mistake and I apologize. Kami Stum came home for the weekend. Monte, Linda, Kami, and Kirbi Stum attended the fair on Saturday. Miranda, Lana, Lauren, and Natalie Weber had a busy weekend. Miranda, Lana, and Natalie each had a sheep to show and Lauren had several non-animal projects that she had to exhibit again. "Why is the phrase 'It's none of my business' always followed by but…?"
