Managing water quality workshop September 18

A water quality workshop for those
living on small acreage property will be Saturday, September 18 from 8:30
a.m. to noon at the Colorado State University Cooperative Extension office
in Adams County, 9755 Henderson Rd.
Cooperative Extension agents from
Adams and Boulder Counties will present information on selecting dryland
grasses for alkaline soil and choosing landscape plants for adverse soil
and water quality environments. Other topics include well construction,
maintenance and permitted uses, and water quality concerns for the home,
lawn and landscape.

The cost is $10 per person and $5
for additional members of a family for registrations received by September
16, and an additional $5 per person after that. Master Gardeners in
Boulder and Adams Counties may attend for free.
