August 26, 7:15 p.m. Upon completing an investigation involving the assault that occurred August 20, 2004, and upon petitioning the Kiowa County Court, four more parties were arrested. Warrants were issued and served on Crystal D. Martinez, 18, of Eads for harassment, obstructing a peace officer and disorderly conduct; and Diana K. McBride, 21, of Eads for harassment, obstructing a peace officer and disorderly conduct. Both were transported to Prowers County Jail and held in lieu of $1,500 bonds. John Brown, 41, of Eads turned himself in to the authorities for disorderly conduct and harassment. Bond was set at $1,000. Jeremy Brown, 19, of Eads also turned himself in to authorities for harassment, disorderly conduct and obstructing a peace officer. Bond was set at $1,500. (Submitted by Captain Ray)
