I hope that everyone had a great weekend. I know that I did. Also, if anyone needs to know the dates of the Plainview junior high and high school volleyball games, you can call me and I will let you know.

Jerene and Tori DeBono traveled to Towner to visit Mary Louise Huddleston on Saturday, August 28th.

Carl and Freda Schmidt had Brian, Dorcas, Michael, Jayme, Amanda, and Abby Berggren over for dinner on August 29th to celebrate Dorcas’s birthday.

Denis and Theresa Weber gladly welcomed the visit from Connie Weber; she came down last weekend.

Floyd and Wynona Barnes went to Oklahoma to attend the funeral of Nancy Barnes’ brother. Floyd, Wynona, and their "son", Rafael Mendonca, vacationed to the Royal Gorge and the Olympic center last weekend. They also visited Art McFarland.

Sharon Arns had a movie night for Evelyn Kassel on August 27th. The Plainview high school girls were invited. Those that attended were Lana Weber, Erin Specht, Becca Specht, Cassie Harris, Evelyn Kassel, Anne-Tiphene Morice, Jane Pinto, Miranda Weber, and Vicki Specht. We watched "Secret Window" and "Heartbreakers". Pizza was also provided as a late night snack. We had about 7 boxes of pizzas. By the time everyone was done eating, we only had one box left. Everyone had a blast and a full stomach after the movies.

Jeana Schroder hosted a movie night for Jane Pinto on August 28th. All Plainview high school students and invited guests were welcome to attend. Those that attended were Trey Harris, Coty Carson, Becca Specht, Lana Weber, Erin Specht, Cassie Harris, Miranda Weber, Vicki Specht, David Kober, and three girls from Cheyenne Wells. I’m sorry. I can’t remember their names.
