Eads Chamber Urges Clean-Up Prior to FairSeptember 3, 2004 The Eads Chamber of Commerce is encouraging all home and business owners to clean up and tidy up their properties prior to the Kiowa County Fair to be held September 8-11th, and is urging all citizens to help keep the county looking clean and attractive. The Kiowa County Fair is a time that draws many out of town guests to the county and the Chamber of Commerce hopes all citizens will join in to make the county look attractive to those visitors.

The Chamber also wants to remind everyone that September is the final month of the season for the Community Marketplace held at Eads City Park every Saturday from 9-11 AM. The Marketplace will be available during Saturday of Fair week although it is unknown how many vendors might be participating due to Fair activities. The final Marketplace of the season will occur Saturday September 25th. The Marketplace will resume for its fourth year next July. Remember that the famous Eads Chamber of Commerce breakfast will be served both Thursday and Friday morning during Fair week in the lot next to Valley State Bank beginning at 6:00 AM each day. Heritage Farms has again generously donated the bacon for the breakfasts and the Chamber urges everyone to turn out for good food and a good old-fashioned chance to socialize and enjoy the day.
