I hope that everyone had a great
weekend. I also hope that the first week of school has been going good.
On Saturday, a couple by the name of
Matt and Laura Chico came from Maryland to tell people about the Measles
Awareness Program through the Red Cross. They stopped in Sheridan Lake.
David Kober, a new foreign exchange student, ran with them to Eads.
We have a new exchange student
attending Plainview School. Her name is Janeth Pinto and she is from
Sangolqui, Ecuador. She is staying with Jeana Schroeder. She likes to
listen to music, dance, hike, and cook.
Thursday afternoon, Susan Greenfield
and Sharon, Wesley and Kristen Arns went to Lamar to do some shopping and
enjoy a pizza dinner. Susan Greenfield went to Sterling this weekend to
see her parents, Norman and Virginia Greenfield. On Saturday, they went to
Yuma to attend a Greenfield family reunion. She came home yesterday.
Rick, Kim, Cassie, and Shelby Harris
had a barbeque for Katja Prang on Tuesday night. She came back from
Germany for a surprise visit. Approximately 50 people attended the
barbeque. Susie Carter came down to visit her daughter, Kim Harris, and
family for a couple of days.
Dick and Sharon Scott went to the
state fair in Pueblo last weekend.
