Eads Chamber Business After Hours Returns

Following a three month summer hiatus, the Eads Chamber of Commerce ‘Business After Hours’ meeting will resume on Monday, August 30th, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Our Place Restaurant.

The topic of discussion for Monday’s meeting will be the revitalization of Maine Street. Several participants from the Yourtown Workshop, which was held in Eads during early June, will be on hand to present many of the ideas generated by that nationally funded workshop. Since the workshop was attended by people from all over the Southeast region and even from outside of Colorado, some very unique ideas concerning Maine Street were generated.

The concept of Business After Hours is to provide a place for citizens to gather and discuss common issues. The Chamber attempts to provide a timely topic each month and selected the revitalization of Maine Street for August due to the timeliness of the Yourtown Workshop, which shared the same focus.

The public is always invited to all ‘Chamber After Hours’ meetings and the Chamber encourages local residents to participate. There is no charge to attend the meeting and you do not need to be a Chamber member to participate. Refreshments and finger foods are also available for a fee.
