Watershed Workgroup MeetingAugust 6, 2004 All stakeholders are invited to the Lower Arkansas Watershed Association Workgroup session, Monday, August 16, 2004, from 2 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. at the Bent County Agricultural Building, 760 Bent Avenue, Las Animas. The conservation districts in the watershed are sponsoring this session. Participants will be able to offer their suggestions on how Environmental Quality Incentive Program (EQIP) dollars are utilized in the Lower Arkansas Watershed. In addition, they will hear a recap of how EQIP funds were distributed in the watershed last year. During a facilitated session, participants will have the opportunity to discuss priorities, cost-share rates and caps, and contract caps plus discuss watershed topics of concern.
