New Administrator Attends Weisbrod Auxiliary Meeting

The Weisbrod Memorial County Hospital and Nursing Home Auxiliary met Tuesday, July 20, at Our Place.

The following were present: Barb Diel, President, Kim Richards, Secretary/Treasurer, Betty Frazee, Margaret Frazee, Dora Pearcey, Doris Lessenden, Alice Weil, Jo Forester, Anna Randle, and guests Loretta Seibel and Betty Holthus.

Meeting was called to order. June minutes were read. I corrected the minutes by adding Janet Lang as being present at the June meeting. Treasurer's report was given.

Barb started the meeting off by introducing the new Hospital Administrator, Warren Yule. He started his new job here on the l9 and we appreciated him being at our meeting.

Old Business: Anna said she is not getting much response on the TV reception. She has contacted some dish networks and they have not returned her phone calls, but not to give up on her, as she is still trying to get some information; Room 2 is still not complete. This room is being redone in memory of Roy Robertson;

New Business: The residents are looking for someone to volunteer their time and vehicle to give them rides on their trailer in the evening while Bob Howerton is under the weather; If interested please contact the nursing home; If anyone has books that are large print the nursing home residents would like to have them to read; Loretta will check on some magnifying glasses that would help the residents read their materials; It was mentioned that readers digest comes in large print and to check with Shannon on purchasing them. Margaret will talk to Shannon about this; Alice will check the name plates on the memory board and get them updated; There was some discussion on the new Dr's wife being here now and we will ask her to lunch at our next meeting.

Margaret made a motion and 2nd by Dora to adjourn meeting. Next meeting will be August l7 at Weisbrod Hospital. Please call the hospital for meal reservation.
