July 26, 10:50 p.m., Highway 287 at mile marker 107. Bridget Ann Lovato, 24, of Lafayette, was issued a citation in to Kiowa County Court for speeding 82 miles per hour in a posted 65 MPH zone. (Submitted by Captain Ray)
July 27, 12:35 p.m. A Kiowa County arrest warrant was issued for Eric D. Garver, 32, of Cheyenne Wells upon presenting an affidavit for fraud by check. A $500.00 bond was issued on the warrant. (Submitted by Captain Ray)
