Kiowa County 4-H Council ReportJuly 16, 2004 On June 28, 2004, the Kiowa County 4-H Council met at the Community Building in Eads. The meeting was called to order by president Milly Spady at 4:06 p.m. The following people attended: Milly Spady, Jace Roberson, Dally Lessenden, Vincent Koeller, Kaye Kasza, Bruce Fickenscher, Brenda Fickenscher, Dawn James, Jessica James, PJ Lessenden, Gail Koeller, Brandy Turcott, Megan Linder, Debbie Harris, Marrissa, Dillon, and Shannon Dixon, and Carol Spady. The Kiowa County Horse Show was held June 5, 2004, with nine contestants participating. Milly reported on 4-H camp, and said it was fun, but there weren’t so many people. Eight people from Kiowa County attended. PJ said that the Junior Rodeo Concessions went well.

Anyone who wants to volunteer for helping at exhibit day needs to call the extension office. State Fair Help is needed. If you are interested, call the extension office. The meeting was adjourned at 4:55 p.m. Our next meeting will be July 19, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at the Kiowa County Extension Office.
