May Valley Speedway June 26th Race Results

May Valley Speedway’s Saturday night’s race took two days to complete do to rain on Saturday. The IMCA Modified cars were an added feature. All of the Heat Races were run along with the IMCA Dash for Cash before the rain put a stop to the activities. Heat Race #3 Brady Coen took first with #21 Darren DeLoach in second place. In the Cash Dash #9 Monty Nordyke of Holly was the winner.

Mini Stock #7 Steve Hernandez was first the # 1 Heat Race with #4 Matt Burkhart in second. The Second Heat Race was won by #29 Shawn Lopez with #40 Parke Hawkins in second. #40 Parke Hawkins took home the cash in the Dash for Cash.

#97 Jimmy Jenkins was first in the Hobby Stock Heat Race #1 with #24 Seth Salisbury in second. #21 Matt Morris came in first over #43 Cameron Austin in the second Heat Race for the Hobby Stock Division.

The Super Stockswere fast and furious in both of the Heat Races. #9 Randy Tipton was first over #20 Shawn Salisbury in Heat #1. Circle 4 Dean Huss of Howard, Colorado came in first over daughter #8 Lindsay Huss in Heat Race #2.

#5 Andy Woller was the winner in the Dash for Cash.

 

Seven pickups competed in the Hobby Truck Division Heat Race. #2 Pat Thompson was first with #7 Brad Westphal of Springfield in second. #92 Keith Eldon Nidey was first in the Dash for Cash.

Next came the Econo Class with two Heat Races. Heat Race #1 was won by #11 driven by Marco Macias and #69 Kerry Austin Tate in second. Heat Race #2 saw #73 Justin Rainwater first with #30 Al "of road" Rodi in second.

On Sunday afternoon at 4 o’clock we continued on with the races. Mini Stocks were first in the Main Event. #40 Parke Hawkins from Syracuse Kansas was in first place with #7 Steve Hernandez in second. #21 Matt Morris came in first over #24 Seth Salisbury in the Hobby Stock Division. In the Super Stock Division brothers #2Angel and #4Phillip Munoz were first and second respectively. The Hobby Truck Division had their 40 lap Main Event that was promised to them on the June 19th race that had been rained out. #92 Keith Eldon Nidey was in first place with #20 Brock Hall coming in second.

The IMCA Modified race was fast, fast, fast. #21 Darren DeLoach was first over #3 Brady Coen. Finally came the Econo Class with #30 Al Rodi leading the race and having his first win of the season with #22 Doug Lapar of Springfield in second.

May Valley Speedway’s next race will be on July 10 and they have invited the Rocky Mountain Dwarf Cars to join the competition.
