East End Events

I am sorry I didn’t get to call more people this week. It started storming and the phone line didn’t want to cooperate with me. On a happier note, I hope everyone had an enjoyable 4th of July.

Monte, Linda, Kami, Kirbi, and Shantel Stum, Lane, Tammy, and Misti Stum, and Shawn Harkness all went to Linly and Sherell Stum’s house on July 4th for a cookout.

I would like to thank everyone that participated in my reading program last week. I had fun and I hope that everyone that attended had fun. Thanks again.

The Plainview junior high and high school cheerleaders got together for a pre-camp practice. After practice, they went swimming, ate pizza, sang, and danced.

A lot of community members enjoyed the 4th of July on July 3rd. We enjoyed a barbeque, parade, and fireworks; it was a very enjoyable evening. Many community members traveled to Eads on July 4th to help support the Plainview class of 2005 and enjoy more fireworks.

Whitney and Brad Hallock from Colorado Springs came down to visit Verna Hallock last weekend.

Last Thursday, Susan Greenfield, Linda Stum, Cheri Hopkins, Ruth Fees, Sharon Arns, Kim Harris, and Lesa Nolan traveled to Leoti, Kansas to eat out at Charlie’s in honor of Susan’s birthday. Afterwards, they went to Lesa Nolan’s house to enjoy a delicious birthday cake made by Felisha Nolan. Many laughs and memories were shared.
