Eads Babe Ruth League Champs

Eads Babe Ruth finished the season
as league champions with a 10 – 1 record. They also traveled to the Lamar
invitational and placed 3rd.
The Babe Ruth team would like to
thank all those that help to make this year a success. We would especially
like to thank the umpires: Mike Lening, Glen Beeson, Shawn Kraft, Vance
Cole and Kelly Lindholm.

The 13 year old players from Eads
that made the all-star team are: Cardon Brandt, Hayden Uhland and Adam
Watts. They will be in action this weekend, the 9th-11th in Eads for their
area tournament. High Plains will start off the tournament against Lamar
at 4:30 on Friday. They would appreciate a large home crowd to root them
on. The top 2 teams from this tournament will advance to state in Holyoke
beginning July16th.
The 14 and 15 year olds were
combined this year for all-stars and those making the team from Eads are:
A. J. Bolin, Jacob Buck, Josh Crow, Demetrius Gilmore, Kevin Lindholm, Wes
Richardson and Matt Seay. They will travel to Rocky Ford the 16th-19th for
their area tournament and will play Santa Fe at 5:30 on Friday. The top 2
from this tournament will also advance to state, which will be in Gunnison
July 23rd- 27th.
