East End Events

Erin and Paige Specht are visiting their cousins in Sterling, Kansas. Jason Specht is in Oregon visiting an aunt and uncle.

Becca and Joanna Specht left last week for Camp Ponderosa. They will return Thursday.

Sunday, Cora Coffman and Susan Greenfield went to Lamar and had lunch with Jeff and Sheila Braise and their grandson, Wesley. After lunch, they went shopping. They had a very enjoyable time.

On Wednesday, Kim, Cassie, and Shelby Harris went to Denver to go to Ocean Journey. After that, they went to Colorado Springs to shop and visit their grandmother. They came home Friday afternoon.

On June 22nd, there was a going away party/potluck for Henni Wicke. About 50 people showed up. The high school girls spent the night at the Stum’s house. The Stums took Henni and her parents to the airport on Thursday, June 24th.

Tyler Harris celebrated his birthday on Tuesday and Wednesday. They went to Dodge City to the World of Outlaw Races. On the way home, they stopped in Garden City to go to the zoo. Tyler also had a pool party at Tribune. Tim Harris raced in the quad wars in Lamar last weekend. He placed first and second.

 

Dick and Sharon Scott took their two grandsons up to Denver so that they could go home. However, they brought their two granddaughters, Ryley and Breeanna, back home for a week.

Judy and Eugene Splitter are hosting two summer missionaries, Chris Plummer and Rachael Bachert, for the weekend.

Bill Boren from Kerrick, Texas, and Connie Weber came up to visit Denis and Theresa Weber for the weekend.

Saturday evening, Chad, Trista, and Iley Tuttle from Ft. Collins went to Bernice’s house for the night. They left for home on Sunday. Bernice Tuttle, Larry and Judy Tuttle, Burl and Cathy Scheuler, and Janet and G.L Palmer went out for lunch Sunday evening.

Debbie and Rodney Shivers are glad to announce that they now have grass in their backyard. As Deb quoted, "we might actually need a mower this year."

Peg, Miranda, Lana, Lauren, and Natalya Weber, as well as Dave Kanefsky, went to see Al Stewart in concert in Arvada on Saturday night. They got autographs and hugs. Sunday, the Weber’s went shopping at the mall and then traveled to the Kanefsky’s house for dinner later that night.
