Thank you, to generous people who have mailed money donations or have brought gifts to me for our Vacation Bible School to send in "goodie boxes" to some soldiers in Iraq or overseas. Some people have asked me what could they bring to my home or have us buy. These are a few suggestions they gave us: dried foods, beef jerky, tuna snack kits, matches, crossword puzzle books, playing cards, toothpaste, tissues, toilet paper, underwear, hand cleansers, writing paper, pens, hometown papers, magazines, baby wipes, dry drinks like pre-sweetened powdered drinks, and hard candy, lip balm., sunscreen and books are valued items. Betsy Evans of Kit Carson and I will be helping send these items in "Moral Packages" if readers have any questions.
