May Valley Speedway Race Results Saturday May 22nd

In the Hobby Stock Heat #1, #97 Jimmy Jenkins was 1st with #24 Seth Salisbury in second place. In Hobby Stock Heat #2, #2 driven by Angel Munoz came in 1st with #41 Marco Macias in second. #2 Angel Munoz won the dash for cash.

In the Super Stock Division, #9 Randy Tipton from Kansas was 1st in the first Heat Race with #68 Brad Hopkins of Las Animas in second. The second Heat Race in the Super Stock Division was won by Dwayne Dechant driving the #2 car with #6 Joe Shoup in second. #2 Dwayne Dechant won the Cash Dash.

The Hobby Trucks saw #7 Brad Westphal of Springfield in first in Heat #1 with #3 Shane Mason also of Springfield in second. #20 Brock Hall was first in the second Heat Race with #92 Keith Eldon Nidey in second. #92 Keith Eldon Nidey also won the Dash for Cash.

#73 Justin Rainwater was first in the Heat #1 with #69 Kerry Austin Tate of Springfield coming in second. #68 Dale Barnes was the winner in Heat #2 in the Econo Division with #73 Justin Rainwater in second.

The first Heat Race in the Mini Stock Division was won by #29 Shawn Lopez with #7 Steve Hernandez in second. #61 David Guinn from Dodge City came in first for the Mini Stock Heat Race #2. #7 Steve Hernandez of Lamar took home the cash in the Dash for Cash event.

 

The Jr. Fan Club kids really got a "kick" out of the intermission with the "shoe kick". The object was to see who could kick his shoe off the farthest. First place in the 6 – 9 age group was Kyle Dupree with 2nd place going to Levi Lease. In the 10 – 13 age group, Sam Appel was first with Brandon Rhuda coming in second.

Next came the Main Events….first up was the Hobby Stock Division. #97 Jimmy Jenkins managed to take first place with #24 Seth Salisbury taking the second place trophy home.

The Super Stock Main Event was a 40 lap, $400 to win event. #5 Andy Woller took home the lst place monies with #9 Randy Tipton coming in second.

The Mini Stock Division saw #29 Shawn Lopez taking his very first lst place win with #7 Steve Hernandez in second.

Next race is June 5th when the Colorado Outlaw Mini Sprints will join the competition.
