East End EventsMay 28, 2004 Ruth Fees attended her great niece’s graduation in Colorado Springs and Matt Harkness’s graduation in Leoti, Kansas. Last week Verna Hallock and her daughter Susan went to Hoisington and Great Bend and back to Larned, Kansas to visit her sister-in-law in the nursing home there. She also saw John Hallock. They enjoyed their time together. The senior banquet went really well. Cheri Hopkins was the speaker. Tom Pape also attended the senior banquet in Towner. He did a Top Ten List on pieces of advice for the senior class. He also played basketball with Erin, Becca, and Vicki Specht Sunday night.

Bob, Peg, Lana, Lauren, and Natalya Weber, as well as Jake Befort, Cora Coffman, Susan Greenfield, Jay and Sharon Wilson, Linda and Kami Stum, Henni Wicke, Felix Henke, and Brian Fung traveled to Pueblo to watch Miranda run the 400-meter dash at the state track meet. She placed in the top 8 which qualified her to run the next day. She placed 8th overall at state. Congratulations, Miranda!! "When you have two items to carry, why is the largest one always the lightest?"
