Senior Profile - Dustin Batterton
May 21, 2004
Dustin Batterton - Dusty, as he
is known around the halls of E.H.S., was born on June 22, 1985 at the
Weisbrod Memorial Hospital in Eads, Colorado to Pam and Brent Batterton.
Dusty has been a four-year member of the FFA Chapter and sites his Ag
classes as his most enjoyable because he loves to work in the shop. His
role model is Carroll Shelby "because he built what he wanted and believed
in it." His favorite childhood memory includes traveling with his parents
and the many places they visited. Dusty is most proud of getting out of
high school but hopes the underclassmen realizes they should have as much
fun as possible because it will be over before they realize it. He plans
to attend Northwest Kansas Technical College and go into the field of Auto
Technology. He would love to be living in the area in the next ten years
but using the skills and trade he learns in college to operate his own
auto shop. A lasting change Dusty would like to see in our school is to
give students more of a variety of classes to choose from.
