Prairie Queen 4-H Discuss Future Projects

On April 18, 2004 the Prairie Queen
4-H club gathered for their monthly meeting hosted by the Spady family.
The meeting was called to order at 2:10 p.m. In attendance: Alicia and
Jessica James, Tara and Milly Spady, Remington Brandt, Chevaun Glover,
Lakota Roberson, Andrea Williams, Tyler Salisbury, and Jennifer and Jayce
Negley. The pledges were lead by Jennifer and Alicia. The minutes were
read by Tara and they were approved. The treasurers report was gave by
Chevaun.
Old Business - Membership
Expectations- We made sure that all the families had signed and turned in
their membership expectation papers.
Trash Pick-Up- Scheduled for April
23, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. but due to the weather it was postponed.
The SECPA Dinner report- Everything
worked out fine.

New Business - Lara Morlan
Memorial which we will contribute to the fund and also, we want to have a
memorial set up by the club.
We discussed having a Yard Sale
during the Junior Rodeo, but it was tabled.
We were asked to help paint the
fence at the Kiowa County Fair Grounds.
Adopt-A-Military- The person will be
Kevin McNamara. Next month will be Sarah Puls.
Also discussed were the Exchange
families.
The next host family will be
Williams. The meeting was adjourned at 3:05 p.m.
