Senior Profile Sabrina Kiniston
Sabrina Kiniston - Sabrina Kay
was born on May 14, 1986, which makes her 18 today, in Steamboat Springs,
Colorado. She enjoys two sets of parents including Gary and Sonya Kiniston
of Eads and Valerie and Scott Tuthill of Steamboat Springs. This year
Sabrina took an online college course called Human Growth and Development.
This turned out to be a very good move for her as she not only earned
credits toward her future goal of becoming a nurse, but she also learned a
great deal about child development which has helped her be a more informed
mom for her son Jayden. Her parents are her role models and through the
years they have helped her and her siblings out whenever they really
needed them. Her favorite childhood memory is when Lee Sheridan, her
grandfather, would wake her up early in the summer mornings and take her
to with him when he set up the fields for the summer ball games. After
they finished working he would take her to get something to eat. Of
course, in high school, her most memorable event was having her son Jayden
and she is most proud of how she is raising her son. She plans to take a
year off after high school where she will collect some much-needed money
and be a mom for her son. Then she will attend either LCC or OJC where she
will pursue her nursing degree. She thinks a bowling alley in Eads would
be a great addition because she thinks there would be a lot of interest
and now the kids are forced to drive to Lamar when they want to bowl.
