Weisbrod Hospital Auxiliary Meets

The Weisbrod Memorial County Hospital and Nursing Home Auxiliary met Tuesday, April 20 at Weisbrod Hospital.

The following were present: Barb Diel, President, Annie Cole, Vice President, Kim Richards, Secretary/Treasurer, Dora Pearcey, Jo Forester, Doris Lessenden, Vivian Gifford, Philomene Liesen, Margaret Frazee, Anna Randle, Sis Howard, Joyce Berry, Alice Weil, and quests Rhonda Krueger, Mildred Michael, Della Brice, and Rosamond Pollreis.

Meeting was called to order by Barb. March minutes were read and approved.

Under Old Business: Rhonda and Sis have finished the tub room by adding the plastic and the valance to the window; The bedspread fringes are being repaired by sis; the Senior Class will be painting room 2 for a community project and as requested by the Roy Robertson family, the would like to see the memorial given on behalf of "Roy Robertson" to used to add a western style decor for this room;

Under New Business: Rhonda has f full day on May 7th planned on Mothers Day for the residents. Facials are scheduled in the morning and a fashion show in the afternoon. Doris will be narrating the show while Philomene will be playing the piano. The auxiliary will provide the refreshments and the corsages for the ladies. She also said May l0-l4 is hospital week. There is something planned for every day. On Friday, May l4 there is going to be a barbecue at 5:00 and she would like some of the auxiliary members to assist. There was some discussion on the bad reception on some of the TV's and what it would take to fix this problem. Anna said she would do some checking.

Our next meeting will be May 18 at noon at Our Place.

Dora made a motion and 2nd by Jo to adjourn meeting. Motion carried.
