Senior Profile - Ashley Brown
May 7, 2004
Van and LeAnna Brown of Eads had
their first child on April 5, 1986 in Lamar, Colorado. They named the
dark-haired little girl Ashley and soon learned this little girl would
become something very special. Family and school has always been Ashley’s
focus and she remembers as a little girl being pulled on a sled behind her
dad’s motorcycle. Her role model is her mother because she has had a
positive influence on her. Ashley says her mom has always been there when
she needed her and is a very kind person. Ashley has taken a heavy course
load in school so it is no surprise that Chemistry is her favorite class
because she likes the experiments they have conducted. She’s most proud of
her successes in FFA and becoming the Eads Chapter President is her most
memorable event in high school. Ashley has always been interested in
politics and public service and as such will run for a state FFA office
when she graduates. If she does not receive an office she will begin
Pre-Law course work at either Regis University or the University of
Denver. She sees herself as a practicing lawyer in ten years. Ashley
leaves some good advice and ideas for our school community. To the
underclassmen she says to remember what’s best for you isn’t always
popular and what’s popular isn’t always best. She adds she would love to
see a teen recreation center in Eads in the near future.
