Senior Profile Levi Kraft
April 2004
Levi Kraft - Levi is the son of
David and Tina Kraft of Eads and was born in La Junta on April 23,
1986...making him 18 years old this week. His favorite class in school is
FFA because he loves working on various projects in the shop and has done
very well in the competitions. Recently, he was a member of the horse
judging team that won first place among the three districts from this part
of the state. Levi is known as an outstanding athlete so it would make
sense that sports have always been the focal point for Levi. His childhood
memories include winning the state championship as a 10-year-old in
baseball. Another state championship came his way in high school as he was
an important member of the 2003 basketball state championship team. He
names pro football player Al Wilson as his role model because he plays
linebacker, the same position Levi has excelled in. Football will continue
to be his focal point as it has gotten him an opportunity to attend
college at Chadron State College in Nebraska where he hopes to get out on
the gridiron next fall. Levi is most proud of graduating from high school
because he admits he didn't tend to business in his early prep years. He
has some words of experience for his fellow underclassmen saying, "Don't
slack your first two years if you want to get into a good college." He,
like so many of his classmates, would like to see more things for the
youth to do in the community.
