Amanda McLoud - Amanda was born on June 28, 1986 in Eads, Colorado to Mike and Joyce McLoud. Her mother, Joyce, now lives in Texas but is still close to her daughter. Amanda lives with her father and wife Cindy McLoud and says her brother Justin has always been her role model. In fact, when she makes any important decision she measures it against how her brother would see things. Her childhood in Eads was surrounded with her best friend Jessica and the two have enjoyed great times together in high school as well. They were both named to the All-Conference volleyball team this year; a great honor for both. She is most proud of her independence and being a responsible person. Amanda has been a vital leader at Eads High School and uses her wonderful sense of humor and personality to freshen things up. Her favorite class is College Prep with Mrs. Vasquez where she and her classmates have worked on planning their futures and leaving a lasting impression on Eads High School in the way of the yearbook. She wants the underclassmen to realize that high school goes by so fast so they need to make the best of it by going out with friends and always wake up with a smile on your face. She also wishes that the school and community could provide activities other than sports that would bring more students and people together.
