Obituary - Mildred Rosemary Taylor (McDaniel), 73

Word was received from Winifred Shepherd that Mildred Rosemary McDaniel (Taylor) passed away on April 20, 2004 at the nursing home at Palisade at the age of 73 years.

Mildred was the younger daughter of Fred and Hazel McDaniel, who resided north of Eads.

Rosemary was born and raised at Eads, graduating from the local high school. She attended college in Colorado Springs and then taught second grade in the Colorado Springs school for a number of years.

After she married Glen Taylor, they eventually moved to Hotchkiss. This is where her husband died, and was buried in their yard at Hotchkiss. Since the home has been sold to strangers (and she had no children) Rosemary will be buried (after cremation) in the Shepherd burial plots at Grand Junction, Colorado.

Her only remaining close relatives are her sister, Winifred Shepherd of Palisade and Winifred’s two children, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren, and sister-in-law Ruth McDaniel (widow of Seth McDaniel) of Klamath Falls, Oregon.
