Landscape Seminar April 30

Southeastern Colorado Water Conservancy District is sponsoring a Landscape Seminar geared toward professionals who maintain public landscaped areas. Drought and water restrictions have taken a heavy toll on landscapes in southern Colorado. The well known speakers offer experience and valuable information on how to create and maintain sustainable landscapes for our semi-arid climate. A fee is being charged.

The schedule will include Jean Van Pelt, SECWCD Conservation Outreach Coordinator; Rick Allen a consultant with Biological Solutions; Larry Keesen one of the original members of Xeriscape Colorado; Brent Mechan Landscape Water Management and Conservation Specialist and Dr. Tony Koski CSU Extension Turf Specialist. Lunch will be provided by Southeast Colorado Water Conservancy District.
