The 7th and 8th grade classes of Plainview will be having a fundraiser April 24 and want your help! If you will be in Lamar that day, stop by Wal-Mart and buy some yummy things from their bake sale. The sale will last from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Amy Schmidt and Dennill Splitter would like to thank all the ladies in the community who have so graciously brought goodies to Good News Club every Monday this year. They really appreciated the help!
Mary Louise Huddleston, Ralph and Verna Hallock, Bernice Tuttle, Sharon Scott, and Lana Weber attended the Grand Ole Opry in Holly Sunday. They said it was very good and they had a nice time.
Ruth Fees, among other community members, attended Robi McDaniel's bridal shower Saturday.
Larry and Judy Tuttle visited Kim and Tim Freeman of Trinidad over the weekend.
Brady Butler was home for the weekend and he and his parents traveled to Colorado Springs to see the PBR Rodeo.
