S.E. Colorado Value Added Opportunities Workshop to be
Held

Putting together the basics of
beginning a value added business is the Focus of the Southeast Colorado
Value-Added Opportunities workshop to be held on April 7 from 8:30 am to
4:00 pm at the Kiowa County Community Building in Eads, Colorado. Topics
to be covered include: an overview of value- added business opportunities;
developing business and marketing plans; and resources to support those
businesses. The workshop is geared toward agriculture-based and home-based
business operations and/or those who are considering new ventures.

is $10 and includes lunch.
Participating partners in the
workshop are: Colorado State University Cooperative Extension, Kiowa
County Economic Development Foundation, Colorado Rural Development
Council, Department of Local Affairs, and Women Involved in Farm Economics
(WIFE).
